You put us in boxes

And tell us what we should be.

You wrap us tightly

Until you suffocate us.

You never take a second

To get to know us.

To know who we really are.

But what if we lived a life outside the box?

Where we weren’t made to be categorized?

And we weren’t looked at differently because we didn’t fit in our box?

Where people knew us for who we actually are

Instead of just judging our wrapping?

Wouldn’t a world without boxes be nice?
